Akeno is one of the female main protagonists of High School DxD, one of Issei’s wives, and Rias Gremory’s best friend.
Akeno is a beautiful girl with black hair tied in a long ponytail, violet eyes, and a gorgeous figure just like Rias.
She usually wears the Kuoh Academy girl’s uniform.
But in battle, she wears a traditional Miko attire with tabis.
At first glance, you might guess she is elegant just like her appearance.
But underneath that calm facade lies a sadistic, flirtatious personality.
Kobeni Higashiyama – Chainsaw Man
Kobeni was a member of the Public Safety Devil Hunter organization and also a member of Makima’s experimental squad.
She is a petite girl with black hair and black eyes.
Most of the time, she sports a shy expression.
She usually wears a professional suit like the other Devil Hunters.
Kobeni is a coward, which is the perfect way to describe her.
During the first time fighting the Eternity Devil, she was paralyzed by fear, and the moment her group got trapped in the hotel, she started panicking because of the possibility of starving to death.
But in the end, she is good.
Siesta – The Familiar of Zero
I think this is the best girl from The Familiar or Zero.
Siesta is a maid working at the Magic Academy where almost all the characters attend.
She is a cute girl with a beautiful figure, short black hair, and big grey eyes.
Because of her job as a maid at the academy, her normal attire is a maid uniform.
But she also wears other clothes like a sailor uniform, a bunny outfit, and more.
She is timid, friendly, and soft-spoken.
Because of her job (and for being a peasant), she does not usually share her opinion until she meets Saito, because he motivates her to stand up and never give up.
She is 1/8 Japanese.
Shiki Ryougi – The Garden of Sinners
This is the main protagonist of the critically acclaimed Ufotable series of films, The Garden of Sinners.
Both beautiful and dangerous, Shiki is a demon hunter with three personalities: SHIKI (a male personality), Shiki (the original female personality), and Void, which never manifests.
She works with the Garan no Dou (“Hollow Shrine” in English) organization when combat is needed because of her “Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.”
This supernatural ability allows the user to “perceive death.”
Shiki is a beautiful and elegant girl with shoulder-length black hair, dark green eyes (they turn blue when she uses the Mystic Eyes ability), and a slender figure.
Yukina Himeragi – Strike the Blood
Yukina is Akatsuki Kojou’s observer and partner.
She is also a sword shaman working for the Lion King Organization with the mission to follow Kojou everywhere he goes.
Yukina is a beautiful middle-school girl (considered one of the most beautiful in the Saikai Academy), with shoulder-length black hair and light brown eyes.
Most of the time she is on screen, she is wearing the Saikai Academy uniform while carrying a guitar case where she hides her weapon, the Schneewalzer.
She has a tsundere personality.
She can be timid, friendly, and serious but simultaneously blunt, jealous, and aggressive towards Kojou.
Misaki Nakahara – Welcome to the N.H.K.
Misaki is a girl who wants to save the life of a NEET.
She is 18 years old with short black hair and brown eyes.
Throughout the anime, Misaki has two main sets of clothes.
The most common is a yellow and black shirt with a blue skirt.
And the other one is a dark blue dress with a white collar.
But only in the manga, does she wear a jacket with a scarf, a pear coat, and even a schoolgirl outfit.
Misaki is a troubled person.
On the outside, she looks like a cheerful and positive person.
But secretly, she is very shy and fragile, at least in the anime.
In the manga, she is more manipulative, jealous, and sadistic.
Luka “Rukako” Urushihara – Steins;Gate
Look, we all know that I’m not trolling with this one.
She is a girl in one of the Alpha Worldlines.
And I will talk about female Rukako.
So leave me alone, ok (lol)?
Luka is a very slim girl with black short hair, grey eyes, and average stature.
She is emotional and timid.
She likes very girly clothes and also our boy Rintarou.
Rukako normally wears a black blouse, red shorts with a black belt and a chain, and black shoes.
But she also appears wearing a Miko Priestess outfit while working at the shrine.
Mima Kirigoe – Perfect Blue
This is the underrated protagonist of one of the most critically acclaimed animated films ever made.
Mima is a determined woman with a free-spirited, positive, and bubbly nature.
However, that innocent and sweet nature changes when she quits CHAM! (Her pop group).
That’s when a really upset fan starts stalking her making Mima paranoid.
After a scene in her new film “Double Bind,” she becomes more stressed because of the murders of the photographers, producers, and screenwriters.
What will happen to Mima after this?

Shizune – Naruto
She is Tsunade’s right hand.
Shizune is a very talented medical ninja who accompanies Tsunade everywhere she goes.
She is a beautiful woman of average height, with black short hair and onyx eyes.
She normally wears a black kimono with white details and black sandals.
While in battle, she wears the standard Konoha outfit with extra-long sleeves.
Shizune is a level-headed and serious person.
But she is also very calm, kind, and intelligent.
Shizune is not afraid of voicing her opinion or even objecting to her own superior’s opinions.
She is somebody with a great sense of morality and ethics.
Tsubasa Hanekawa – Monogatari Series
This is the best girl in the Monogatari series.
Everybody knows that.
Tsubasa is Koyomi Araragi’s classmate and a model student admired by many.
She is a soft-spoken and positive girl who is liked by everybody she meets.
Her intelligent, friendly, and humble characteristics define Tsubasa very well.
But behind those traits is a girl who does everything almost automatically.
Her sense of righteousness is a double-edged sword.
She wears glasses, has a fair complexion, purple eyes, and black hair, and many people say she is really beautiful.
Her most common attire is the Naoetsu Private High School uniform.
Yui Kotegawa – To Love-Ru
Yui is the favorite girl of almost every To Love-Ru fan, including myself.
Kotegawa is a secondary female character and also one of the most popular characters in this anime.
She is part of the school disciplinary committee, which means she is a very serious, uptight, and quick-tempered girl with strong sense of morality.
But at the same time, she is a tsundere and (secretly) enjoys strange things.
Her most common outfit is the Sainan High school female uniform which she uses most of the time, but when she is not at school, she wears a white blouse with a black skirt.
Hayase Nagatoro – Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro
Are you ready for the second season or what?
Her anime broke the internet when it was released mainly because of how sadistic Nagatoro is.
But after that, we fell in love with her.
Hayase Nagatoro is a petite, cute, and short-statured girl with tanned skin, long black hair, large brown eyes, and big fangs.

She has black eyes, always sporting a determined expression and has the ability to create any non-living object from her skin.

Momo is considered the “older sister” of the classroom.
She is a dedicated, calm, selfless, and level-headed person.
But she can also be very tough with herself, especially when her pride is crushed.
Pieck Finger – Attack on Titan
She is perhaps the world’s favorite titan.
When she is not transformed into a Titan, Pieck is a beautiful Eldian girl with short stature, shoulder-length black hair which sometimes is tied into a ponytail, and dark brown eyes.
She is normally seen wearing a white shirt, a beige long trench coat, a brown long skirt, black boots, and the Eldian armband.
Because of spending two months in her Titan transformation without interruption, she is seen using a crutch.
Despite being both a titan and a soldier, Pieck is kind, relaxed, loyal, and gentle.
She is also an extremely intelligent person, able to deduce much from almost any situation.
When she is not using the crutch, Pieck usually walks on all fours because she says “it feels more natural.”
Mio Akiyama – K-ON!
Mio is the cutest bass player ever.
She is the main lyricist, second vocalist, and left-handed bass player of the band “Ho-Kago Tea Time.”
Reserved, shy, soft-spoken, and scared, Mio is a beautiful black-haired girl with dark blue/black eyes, a beautiful figure, and average stature.
She loves playing bass because of the “support” it brings to the rhythm.
Mio can play many styles and is also a great lyricist.
And she normally wears the Sakuragaoka High School uniform.
And outside school, she likes to wear sleeveless clothes and prefers pants over skirts.
Videl – Dragon Ball Z
The daughter of the world’s champion, the savior of the world, she is the second best… No wait, the third best girl in Dragon Ball Z after Android 18 and Bulma.
Videl is a beautiful young woman with average height, long black hair (she later cuts it shorter), blue eyes, and an athletic physique.
The two most common outfits Videl wears in Dragon Ball Z are:
- a long white shirt, black gloves, purple socks, black spandex shorts, and gold hair clips.

Maki is my type of woman.
She is a former Second Generation pyrokinetic who is part of the Special Fire Force Company 8 where she serves as Unit Leader.
Maki is a beautiful girl with an athletic physique, long black hair usually tied into a ponytail, violet eyes, and above-average stature (1.67cm).
She is a hopeless romantic behind that calm exterior.
Maki usually dreams of knowing a prince and marrying him.
But she also has a complex with her body.
When somebody teases her with a random nickname, she mistakenly hears “gorilla cyclops” which makes her go berserk.
She also says that having a muscular physique makes her less feminine when almost everybody around her finds her beautiful.
Her normal attire is the Company 8 uniform.
Nora (or The Stray) – Noragami
Let me start this section by explaining a “shinki”
A shinki is a spirit that gods use for different tasks.
And Nora is exactly that, a shinki.
Physically, Nora looks like a young woman.
She has short black hair, dark purple eyes, below-average stature, a very cute face, and a lot of kanji written over her body representing all her names given by her different masters.
She commonly wears a white kimono with a red kimono belt with golden patterns, black and red sandals, and uses red lipstick and a hitaikakushi (forehead covering) typical of ghosts.
At first glance, she looks like a kind and gentle girl.
In reality, she is a cruel and manipulative spirit with a killer instinct.
Rin Tohsaka – Fate series
Master of the servant Archer and the biological sister of Sakura Matou, Rin Tohsaka is a high school student capable of manipulating all five elements.
She has long black hair, aqua eyes, below-average height, and an athletic body.
Rin wears a lot of outfits during the series.
The two most common are:
- her casual clothing which consists of a red long-sleeved shirt, a black skirt, black stockings, and brown shoes, and
- the standard Homurahara uniform which on cold days she sometimes accompanies with a red coat.
About her personality, she is a natural-born tsundere.
Rin is perceptive, serious, and competitive but mischievous, supportive, and caring at the same time.
Noel Niihashi – Burn the Witch
Yeah, Noel is a Witch.
She works for an organization called Wing Bird.
Physically, she is tall, has long black hair with blue eyes, long bangs, and a weird thing that looks like a little horn on her left temple.
Her witch uniform consists of a white shirt underneath a green suit and a red bow tie, a red and black cape, a green skirt, black leggings, and brown shoes.
When she is not working, she usually wears long sweaters.
Noel is a stoic woman who normally sports a poker face, likes wearing uniforms, and prefers that other people call her by her first name.
She uses the narration theme from Dragon Balls as her ringtone.
Nanao Ize – Bleach
Nanao is almost like Shizune.
But in this case, she does all the hard work because his captain is a lazy moron.
She is one of the two lieutenants of the Gotei 13 and the Vice-President of the Shinigami Women’s Association.
Nanao is a youthful and slim girl with glasses, black hair pinned back, blue eyes, and average height.
She is a serious, respectful and intelligent person who, most of the time, scolds her captain because of his lazy attitude, but without being disrespectful.
Like the other lieutenants, she follows her captain’s orders to the core.
By the way, she is more than 120 years old.
Chisato Hasegawa – The Testament of Sister New Devil
Chisato is Basara’s mentor.
And in reality, she is an extremely powerful angel whose real name is Afureia.
She has black hair, green eyes, and a gorgeous figure.
She normally wears a green turtleneck, a black mini-skirt, red glasses, and, because she works as a nurse in Basara’s school, a lab coat.
Chisato is a wise, caring person who is willing to protect and “take care” of Basara since he lost his mother.
Despite being a calm person, she can be jealous of other girls who are in love with Basara.
And she can get extremely angry when somebody attempts to kill our boy.
Lust – Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Lust was one of the main reasons why many people started watching FMA: Brotherhood.
Lust serves as one of the main antagonists in the first part of this anime.
Her appearance is stunning with long wavy black hair, pink eyes, and pale skin.
She is tall with a beautiful figure and has the Ouroboros mark on her sternum.
Anybody could fall for her.
She usually wears a black dress, black gloves, and black heeled boots.
Lust is sadistic and feels pleasure in making her enemies suffer.
Despite her name, she is never portrayed as a sexually crazy enemy.
Her name comes from the bloodlust she feels when fighting another person.
Yumeko Jabami – Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler
I bet a lot of people stopped gambling after watching this anime.
Yumeko looks like the most elegant girl you can find.
She has long black hair, burgundy eyes (they turn red when she is “excited”), pink lips, above-average height, and a gorgeous figure.
most of the time, Yumeko wears the Hyakkaou Private Academy female uniform: a white shirt with a black tie underneath a red blazer, a grey skirt, black stockings, and brown shoes.
She also wears a ring on her left thumb.
Yumeko is an upbeat and charismatic girl who loves gambling more than anything because it excites her and makes her feel alive.
She is extremely intelligent and fearless to the point of playing Russian Roulette without any sign of fear.
Tomoko Kuroki – No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys Fault I’m Not Popular
The personification of the word “Cringe”, but that does not matter.
Tomoko is really cute.
Tomoko is a short girl with pale skin, unkempt black hair which normally covers her right eye, green eyes with dark shadows underneath them, and a very delicate figure.
Her most common outfit is the female school uniform; a white shirt with a red tie underneath a pale-yellow jacket, a long skirt of the same color as the jacket, black stockings, and brown shoes.
Normally at home, she wears non-feminine clothes.
Tomoko is a pessimistic, asocial otaku girl who spends most of her time daydreaming about being popular and cursing those who are already popular.
And there it is, anime fans, plenty of anime girls with short black hair.
