8. The Devil Is A Part Timer

the devil is a part timer best anime like one punch man

If you’ve ever wondered what a story about afallen angel lord opening a fast food joint might look like, then let’s get you started. Devil is a Part-Timer begins with Lucifer (I’m not kidding) attempting to recover from the of his loyalfallen angel minion Beelzebub–who, as the show reveals in episode two, is his younger sister. The process involves him taking a trip to earth to study the human world in his capacity as afallen angel lord. Of course, when he arrives, he’s mistaken for a local hero who’s just returned and winds up being made the manager of a fast-food place. The rest of the story involves his attempts to fit into human society while running the restaurant.

The Devil Is A Part-Timer, and One Punch Man are both set in a world where monsters and humans coexist. The anime characters of the two series possess superhuman abilities, with the exception of Alciel (Devil Is A Part Timer), who has disguised himself as a human and doesn’t show any sign of having such special powers. Saitama (One Punch Man) had become so powerful he could defeat enemies with just one punch.

7. The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K

The story depicts his everyday life, which often includes him trying to protect people against supernatural phenomena, which often results in him inadvertently creating more chaos.

Saiki, The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K protagonist, shares many similarities with the One Punch Man. For starters, they’re both overpowered heroes who don’t believe in their own power. But also, they are a good example of an antihero or a tragic hero because it’s their powers that almost always cause them to be misunderstood and underestimate themselves. And finally, both of these anime have sidekicks that help them reach their goals.

6. Assassination Classroom

The story is simple. Some alien dude comes to earth to destroy humanity. But to give them a fighting chance, he tells them that if they can take the life of him before he destroys the entire planet, they can all live. So, everyone in Japan is tasked with taking the life of him before he can destroy the entire planet. As it turns out, it’s not as easy as it sounds.

Throughout the series, both have two hilarious and overpowered characters who are extremely strong and are looking for an opponent who can match their overwhelming power and skills. Koro Sensei is trying to find a student who can take the life of him by the time his students graduate, while Saitama, who has become increasingly bored of taking the life of villains with just one punch, is looking for a challenging opponent. These two stories are both great and lots of action. Additionally, both Saitama and Koro-Sensei are teachers. Both are great shows. Check them out!

problem children are coming from another world arent they best anime like one punch man

Although Problem Children are Coming from Another World, Aren’t They? Initially looks like a typical anime, it quickly becomes clear that the show is a lot deeper than that. The main character, a NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) named Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, is unwillingly cast in the role of hero when he, along with his step-sister and several other girls, are transported to another world.

Both feature powerful heroes in their world who are the only ones capable of fighting and defeating most threats, and even though it is easier for them, they both want to put effort into their fights. Though One Punch Man is more realistic with more factors at play while problem children are more supernatural based.

4. Overlord

Best Anime like overlord

Overlord is a Japanese fantasy anime series based on a light novel series of the same name, written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by So-bin. It is directed by Naoyuki Itou and produced by Madhouse. Overlord is about Momonga, a player who happens to get trapped in a video game called Yggdrasil. As he goes about his normal player living in the game, he goes about conquering the game. However, he decides to not log out of the game and stays in the game until the NPCs start to develop personalities and go against the will of the Gods of the game.

One Punch Man is a show about Saitama, a man who wants to be an invincible superhero called “One Punch Man.” Still, it is instead regarded as being too strong because he can defeat any enemy with a single punch. In Overlord, the main character, Momonga, finds himself trapped in the world of Yggdrasil. He discovers that he can control his avatar and can fight back against the monsters by using items and magic spells. In both of these shows, there is a certain point at which an individual realizes that they are powerful enough to take on anything—even gods.

3. My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It tells the story of Izuku Midoriya, who lives in a world where everyone has superpowers, but he was born without them. Dreaming of becoming a superhero anyway, he’s eventually scouted by the world’s best hero, All Might. He enrolls in a school for professional heroes. The story is your typical coming-of-age superhero anime story. Still, My Hero Academia is distinguished by its quirky characters and fantastic artwork.

In My Hero Academia 80% of the world’s population has some kind of superpower. Some have a so-called “quirk,” i.e., the ability to manifest a superhuman ability. It’s not just cool looking. These abilities are incredibly useful and can help you in all aspects of your life. Those who have a quirk go on to become heroes. In contrast, the rest of the population is going on to become normal citizens.

The similarities between the anime My Hero Academia and One Punch Man are that they both feature superheroes in a world where they have become commonplace. Besides, both series also show the struggles of regular people in their respective worlds.

In My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya is an average teenager who dreams of becoming a superhero. Despite having no superpowers, Izuku wants to be a “Hero” more than anything, and he is eventually scouted by the world’s greatest hero, who shares his quirk with him. In One Punch Man, Saitama is a superhero who wants to become a “proper” superhero. In spite of his incredible power, which allows him to defeat any foe in a single punch, Saitama finds most battles pointless and annoying. Since he can defeat anyone so easily, he often has to deal with tedious villains who are more annoying than threatening. These fights are what make up most of the series.

When the pair rescues a teenage alien girl with super-strength, Kagura, from a Yakuza group, accepts her into their freelancing business. The three become known as “Yorozuya” (万事屋, “We do everything” or literally “The Anything Store”).

Gintama is an oddball character and a samurai anime that can be hard to get into due to its jumpy plot and odd humor.

The similarities between the Gintama anime and One Punch Man are hard to ignore. Both tell the story of a shounen anime hero with a superpower, that lives in a populated city that has been overtaken by an evil force that sends hordes of enemies to try and stop him. In both cases, the hero is mocked by his peers for his seemingly futile efforts but eventually proves himself as he saves people from danger time after time.
