Because it’s an older show with no real hooks, it’s gotten a bad rap, but as someone who’s read the original series in manga form, it’s a definite recommendation to check it out and support the original creator: Tanabe, Yellow.
Yoshimura Sumimura is descended from a long line of “Kekkaishi,” people with extraordinary abilities who are capable of annihilating evil creatures known as Ayakashi when they venture into the human realm. The Ayakashi are a race of demonic creatures out to devour the magic of the land of Karasumori, which also happens to be the location of Yoshimura’s junior high. He is now forced to fight for the safety of his beloved school and his hometown, which he grew up in. He would rather bake cakes than deal with the creepy creatures that follow him at night if he had his way.
The good news is that Yoshimura isn’t the only one doing their part to keep the bad guys at arm’s length. Tokine Yukimura, a childhood friend, and neighbor joins him in this noble cause. Despite the fact that they belong to different clans, these two work well together. Otome Youkai Zakuro

Yona of the Dawn
The action in Yona of the Dawn is, admittedly, on the tame side. In light of the fact that Yona, as the main character, does very little fighting, it’s more appropriate to refer to the show as an adventure. She will rely on her bodyguard and the other guardians she meets along the way to deal with the dangerous situations she will face. However, Yona’s romantic and friendship relationships make up a significant portion of the show’s story.
Following Princess Yona on her coming-of-age journey, Akatsuki no Yona is based on Mizuho Kusanagi’s well-known manga series of the same name. While being pursued by the forces of the new King of Kouka, Yona must use only a mysterious legend to guide her in her quest to restore Kouka to its former glory.
Prince Su-won has betrayed Princess Yona by taking the life of the king, and now Yona’s life is in jeopardy because she is completely shielded from the problems in the Kingdom of Kouka, which at first glance appears to be peaceful. On Earth, they soon discover, there are terrifying dragon-like creatures bent on wreaking havoc.
Jin Kamishina, a lonely 18-year-old who lost his family in a shuttle accident two years ago, becomes involved in the mysteries of the dragons after witnessing a taking of life committed by one of the creatures. Jin Kamishina is the chosen pilot of the Dragonaut. As he continues on his quest, he is joined by Toa, a mysterious young woman who saves his life after the monster attacks. New friends and foes are encountered, and the two grow closer as they delve deeper into the dragon mysteries.

This show’s title gives the wrong impression. In the first season, there is only a little bit of adult themes in the show, and there isn’t much romance. It’s something that develops over time, like a tree. It takes the first season to truly establish the world and its central characters, but it teases you with some of the potential relationships that will develop in the second season. The size of the battles is also expanding during this time.

Beyond the Boundary
Beyond the Boundary is, in my opinion, the whole shebang. Animated epic battles with stunning visuals and likable characters make this game a must-have for any fan of the genre. The only drawback is that it isn’t any longer. When it was over, I found myself wishing there had been more.
To her knowledge, Mirai Kuriyama is the last living member of her clan, a group of warriors from the Spirit World who can use their blood as weapons. As a result, Mirai’s job is to go on the hunt for and take the life of “youmu”—creatures thought to be the manifestation of negative human emotions. One day, as Mirai is contemplating something on the school’s roof, she meets Akihito Kanbara, a rare human half-youmu hybrid. She slashes him with her blood saber in a fit of rage, only to discover that he is an immortal. Mirai and Akihito soon form an unlikely friendship centered around Mirai’s desire to take the life of Akihito in order to boost her own shaky self-esteem as a Spirit World warrior. Akihito is able to persuade her to join the Literary Club, where she meets Hiroomi and Mitsuki Nase, two other formidable Spirit World warriors.
However, as the group’s bond grows, so does the youmu’s tenacity. As the inevitable release of the world’s most powerful youmu, Beyond the Boundary, approaches, their misadventures will quickly turn into a struggle for survival.
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya
It’s not just theory theorists on the dark side of the internet who believe in things like extraterrestrial life and ESP. Of course, these women aren’t here to have a casual conversation. In many cases, wooing involves a battle of wills. It is a weird premise, yes, but it is followed through in the best possible way.
Over 150 million people were took the life of in a supermassive “spatial quake” that struck the Eurasian continent 30 years ago. The world has been plagued by frequent space quakes ever since, albeit on a rather small scale.
Shidou Itsuka is a seemingly normal high school student that lives with his younger sister, Kotori. A spatial quake threatens the safety of Tengu City, so he rushes to save her, only to be caught in the eruption that ensues. When he investigates it further, he discovers a mysterious girl is at its source, an entity known as a “Spirit” that is also responsible for triggering a physical earthquake. He then encounters an Anti-Spirit Team, an organization dedicated to eradicating spirits, with which the girl conflicts.
Interestingly, Shidou’s little sister, Ratatoskr, is the leader of a third party that believes in saving spirits: “Ratatoskr.” Shidou is forced to join Kotori after the clash as she offers him a method to deal with the spirits-make them falls in love with him. It is now time for him to use his dating prowess to charm Spirits so that the fate of the world can be decided.
