Until now, most animated shows have depicted epic magical battles or magic that’s relatable to the average person’s experience. The settings and depictions vary greatly from work to work, and each one offers something new and exciting. Also, the magic is unique in that it can be used only in battle or can be found in everyday life, which is appealing. Other animations with magic exist, so be sure to explore their options and settings.
In anime, you can find all shapes and sizes of magically-wielding anime characters. Powerful characters may be able to bend reality to their will, or they may be forced to adhere to a rigid code of conduct to avoid blowing themselves up.
For this list, each series will be considered only once. Our list will only consider a series once; if there is a sequel, alternate adaptation, or something similar. Magical enchantments, spells, and potions galore! On this list of the best magic anime, you’ll find your next favorite show to watch.
