Mob mentally unwell 100 follows this psychic character in everyday situations as he now attends school, trains with false espers, and tries not to get too involved in anything or anyone so he can keep it together and, of course, his efforts to have a semblance of normal life results in funny situations in the same style of comedy as Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan.
10. Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto
Haven’t You Heard? I’m Sakamoto or Sakamoto desu ga? is the story of a man that seems to have it all. This comedic anime features an amazing protagonist with impeccable skills and wit, which cause for hilarious dialogue in every situation he finds himself in. The humour comes from how ridiculously flawless this main character always appears to be even though he’s living his ordinary life.
A few days into his first year at school, new classmates thought they had found their idol: His name was Sakamoto – cool as ice; handsome devil who’s got brains; born leader just lookin’ out of place. Sakamoto desu ga? follows the title character as he deals with everyday situations in the school setting as a perfect being without super powers.

9. Tanaka-kun is Always Listless
Tanaka-kun is Always Listless follows the lazy, lethargic high school boy Tanaka who simply wants to sleep through the day. His best friend Ohta has made it his mission to get him more involved in life and make sure he gets a good education. The series’ comedic elements come from a cast of characters trying their hardest to convince him of different activities that may be fun or useful for everyday living but are always met with resistance because it only takes time away from sleeping!
8. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!
You can’t stop the chunibyo! Chunibyo refers to people with the delusions of having psychic powers, usually seen in children. When high school student Yuuta Togashi’s neighbour Rikka Takanazaki moves into his class, he must face her. She is a fellow “chuuni”, and she likes to call herself Wicked Eye. He has no choice but to get involved with her life, whether or not it will lead him back down that path.
Hilarity ensues as Rikka, who still hasn’t outgrown her delusions of having supernatural powers, tries to drags Yuuta’s Dark Flame Master chunibyo persona out of him. The style of comedy in this anime is conveyed through the action sequences and delivery and has an inherent ability to make you experience second-hand embarrassment.
7. Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
Kafuka Fuura was walking home one day when she saw the cherry trees in full blossom. Enjoying their beauty, she suddenly realized that a man had a noose around his neck and was getting ready to take his own life. Running to save him, it turned out to be her homeroom teacher and polar opposite Nozumu Itoshiki! Just because society has put him in despair and the only answer felt like taking his own life!
From strange discussions about society to encouraging a school student to take pills. Join Nozumo and his classroom as they learn about society, with wacky characters such as Kiri Komori: the girl who was injured in an accident; Chiri Kitsu is a student of conformity, she wants to dress like everyone else so that people will accept her for being different; Kaere Kimura suffered from DID (dissociative identity disorder) and; Harumi Fujiyoshi- if you take out the “i” reveals her nature that she’s actually Fujoshi.

6. Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-Kun
Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-Kun aka Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun, is one of the most lighthearted and funniest anime out there. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun pokes fun at normal anime tropes found in shoujo anime and has a lot of comedy that comes from real-life events. For example, Chiyo Sakura confesses her feelings to Umetarou Nozaki, but unbeknownst to her, he’s actually a shoujo mangaka which leads them down an awkward road with some misunderstandings along the way before they find inspiration in their school life together for his next work!

5. Arakawa Under the Bridge
Kou Ichinomiya is doing good for himself. He is the son of an upper-crust businessman, and he lives his life so that he will never owe anyone anything. Until one day he accidentally falls from Arakawa Bridge, but thankfully Nino saves him! This leaves Kou indebted to her-not like it’s a bad thing, though, since she has only one wish-to fall in love with someone who also loves running around all over town just like her! Whoopsie-daisy because now Kou has to live under the bridge with her as her boyfriend.
4. Tonari no Seki-Kun: The Master of taking the life of Time
The biggest difference from Saiki K is that there are no psychic powers for our protagonist here, not even a stray psychic character. Seki-Kun is just a genius when it comes to passing the time. He can create games whenever he comes upon a dull moment in class, such as dominos with erasers and pyrotechnic display for a finale or an elaborate shogi battle with sinister betrayals, traps, drama and self-sacrifice. Yokoi, who sits next to Seki-Kun, gets distracted by all his antics and annoyed that she ends up looking bad because she doesn’t pay attention in class. It’s a hilarious anime with the same delivery styles and sense of humour as The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
3. Handa-Kun
No overpowered esper her, too. Just Handa-Kun: a quirky high school calligrapher with an awkward yet charming personality. He thinks everyone in his class strongly dislikes him when he’s actually a very popular student because of how odd he acts! The humour throughout the Handa-Kun series comes from the protagonist misunderstanding what people are saying to or about him and thinking it’s going much worse than they actually mean. His quirks make for some funny scenes while watching this absurd slice of life anime; don’t miss out on all these laughs!
2. One Punch Man
One Punch Man‘s story is a comedy series parody of superhero stories. Saitama has easily defeated all the villains with a single punch, but he doesn’t like being called “the strongest.” He wants to be recognized as a legitimate hero! This popular anime takes all the normal anime tropes, turns them on their heads and treat them as jokes.
