One of Japan’s longest-running TV series, this anime series features anime adaptations of Japanese folk tales. It’s Group Tac’s second TV series (the first was The Road to Munich, a Munich documentary in 1972).
The series’ rule was that the creative staff changed each episode.
In the future, later anime series would attempt the same though none of them would last as long or be as successful.

The Anpanman storyline took place between 1973 and 2013 and was written by Takashi Yanase.
The series is now an anime game called Soreike! Anpanman, one of Japan’s most popular shows for kids.

Oyako Club (meaning Parent and Child Club) is a Slice of Life series from Fuji TV that has aired since 1994.
Rompa and Lun are two aliens who join a human family in this animated series. The show describes their humorous yet affectionate interactions with the humans.

In the Heian era, circa 1000 years ago, three demons steal the power-stick of Enma, King of Demons, but then lose it. Meanwhile, a young boy of a noble family named Ojarumaru is bored with the life of privilege.

A woman named Sazae-san is the main character. She lives in a house with her husband, her kids, and her parents. It’s a family show with traditional themes.
This show has an atmosphere similar to “The Partridge Family.”
Don’t expect magic girls or kung-fu action. The plotlines are more like I’m going to the mall, and I get lost. Although the simplistic style is not universally liked by foreign audiences, it works very well in Japan.
Because of that, it’s always top-rated and considered “acceptable” by adults.
